The Yuntong Building（云通楼） is the seat of Tongji University’s School of Humanities, located by the south gate of Tongji University’s Siping Road campus, next to the Tongji CDHK, the College of Civil Engineering and the University Hospital.
The building consists of a rectangular main building (office and teaching area) and a cylindrical auxiliary building (meeting and activity area), with five floors. A revolving staircase connects the second to third floors in the central hall, which has a symbolic meaning of “reaching the clouds”.
